The island’s terms of use

1. Who keeps the croft

These terms govern your use of shetlandponyisle.com ("Shetland Pony Isle", "we", "us"), operated by the operator of shetlandponyisle.com. Using the site means you accept them.

2. Who is eligible to visit the island

Shetland Pony Isle is for users aged 18 or over only. When you use it, you confirm you are 18 or over.

3. The virtual coins in the creel

• Virtual coins for the games are supplied without charge.
• Creel coins are not money, credit or property, and they have no monetary value.
• Creel coins may not be purchased, sold, withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money, goods, services or prizes. No in-app purchases exist.
• No prize with real-world value is on offer anywhere on the island.
• At any time we may adjust or reset coins, levels and features across the island.

4. Real-money gambling is never offered on the island

Real-money gambling is neither offered nor promoted by Shetland Pony Isle, and the island has no links to gambling operators.

5. Croft keys (accounts)

• A free account is required for the two worlds after the open one. Each person may have one account only, and accounts may not be shared.
• Your password is for you alone. If somebody else has used your account, let us know immediately.
• The account page lets you delete your account whenever you wish. Deletion happens at once and is permanent.
• An account used to disrupt the site, or that we believe is held by someone under 18, may be suspended.
• Coins, levels and missions are part of the account rather than property of yours, and they may be reset.

6. Island rules of use

Do not try to disrupt the site, run automated tools against it, offer coins in trade, or let a person under 18 use it.

7. Keeping the croft running, and liability

The site comes ‘as is’, and we may alter or withdraw any part of it. A malfunction voids all plays and pays. No part of these terms limits liability where the law forbids that, and your statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. Which law applies on the island

English and Welsh law governs these island terms.
